Description
Wanted to draw some different animals! This time did a giraffe. I like giraffes they are cute and have a awesome tongue!
I tried to make her with a african tribal costumes, but I haven't found a good reference for it so I based it on my own memories and ideas. Also it's another of my watercolors and design practices.
Done with colored pencils for the outlines and colored with watercolors.

I think the colored pencil outlines look better on this piece than the tapir drawing because the purple complements the large amount of yellow. I don't know if the outfit and accessories are accurate or not, but they look great, especially the lower necklaces with the big beads. I also really like the way you did the giraffe anatomy, which shows off both your unique style and a good understanding of what these animals really look like. Aside from the character, the background looks wonderful because of the brown/purple blended into the bottom. The stark black trees and grasses were a marvelous touch, too.
